chocolate malt rainbow cake, credits!

Recipe: makes 1 8 in cake (or two rainbow cakes)

195g self-raising flour
180g butter, room temperature
75g brown sugar

60gsugar

105g Horlicks (or Ovaltine)

3 eggs
60ml milk
60ml boiling water

Ganache: 300g dark chocolate, 250ml cream.

180C. Grease 8 in tin. Mix flour and horlicks  together. Beat butter and sugar, add eggs. Fold in horlick mixture. Mix in milk and boiling water. Bake for 35min. Cool. After cooled using a cutter of some sort, i used a mini cake ring, to cut out a mini circle from centre around 2in. Then cut cake horizontally, ending with two rainbows. Frost, put MnMs on.

Ganache: Heat cream in saucepan. Pour over chocolate, sit for one minute. Stir occasionally until consistency is to your liking.
